Wisdom wisdom quotes

1) “You must learn day by day, year by year to broaden your horizon. The more things you love, the more you are interested in, the more you enjoy, the more you are indignant (feeling or showing anger because of something that is unfair, wrong, or insulting ) about, the more you have left when anything happens.”

-Ethel Barrymore

Learning is not enough, for, we must apply it to our lives. Learning something or learning many things takes a long time whether genius or not. If we keep on sharpening our skills and developing knowledge and wisdom it'll come. The timing is different for all of us but we all go through the same phase while learning something. A parent teaches their child that studying is something one must do for oneself and no one else. Nobody can steal it away, meaning it becomes all ours when we develop it throughout time. Learning too many things will make us not become a professional in one field while learning a certain amount of things can be useful in our future life when anything happens. We never know what will happen in the future so it is best to learn as much as we should learn.

2) “A man must be big enough to admit his mistakes, smart enough to profit from them, and strong enough to correct them.”

-John C. Maxwell

When a man is big enough to admit his mistakes it is to love oneself the correct way. Everybody makes mistakes in life, and it is best to learn from them instead of complaining about it and dwelling in it. To learn from one's mistakes is being smart enough to profit from them. It isn't easy to correct mistakes for there is nothing easy in life. Whichever is easy to do in life, there is no value or deep meaning to it. Therefore, a man must be strong enough to overcome this hardship and achieve success in correcting one's mistakes.

3) “It is not who is right, but what is right, that is of importance.”

-Thomas Huxley

To believe that someone is right because it is merely that person while we know that it isn't actually right is to disrespect oneself. To show respect to oneself out of love of oneself, what is right should be right because it is right, and not because someone we like or love believes it to be so. When that someone knows that we just believed it to be true only because one believed it to be so and when it isn't actually right, that person will lose respect towards us. It reveals a very poor characteristic.

4) “With pride, there are many curses. With humility, there come many blessings.”

-Ezra Taft Benson

In the world of psychological warfare, competition is a definite thing that happens, and we must put forth our pride out of self love in order to achieve success in it. With so much competition
out of pride many curses are bound to come about out of our mouths. To be the ultimate best in this warfare, one must be able to help others because the greater the power the greater the responsibility is. When we experience humility, we get to feel and know of how other people feel when being humiliated. Therefore, helping someone out out of understanding how they feel in the inside has many blessings. Blessings will be people who want to bond with us for helping them out out of sincere care and love.

5) “Quick decisions are unsafe decisions.”

-Sophocles

We can only focus on one thing at a time and making quick decisions shortens our thought, and there comes regret. Because of how everything gets tangled in a relationship among people and we are all in the same spider-web making quick decisions makes us fail to see the negative outcomes of it. Relationship is the way of life in the sense that all things happen in the very same concepts whether it goes for relationship with people and life happenings.
